Considering that it's among the best wedding photographers in the world, we feel very fortunate that some of our images placed in last quarter's ISPWP contest. What makes this even more shocking for us, is that we ranked #3 overall in the world and #1 overall in the United States.

We just got back from attending The Foundation Conference in Kansas City, MO. It was so great to take a few days off to catch up with friends, learn new things, and be inspired. During the last night, we entered the photo competition. And fortunately, out of 340 entries, we both individually placed in the Top 10. It was a humbling experience and kinda awkward for us to accept the winnings, because so many of our idols were in the room watching. But it means a lot, because we have a super-insane amount of respect for all of the judges: Anna Kuperberg, Tyler Wirken, Candice Cusic, Robert Mirani, and the masterful Huy Nguyen.
