We spent the entire winter finding ways to push ourselves and our photography even further. And since this was our first wedding of the year, it felt great to get back into it. Even though we didn't get a chance to meet before the wedding day, from all of our phone conversations, it really felt like Star + Jason were old friends of ours :) I think since their son was a part of the wedding, and since he's probably too young to remember much of it, we felt some internal obligation to capture moments of his parent's big day for him. Star + Jason: Thank you so much for allowing us to be a part of your wedding and to document such important moments for your family. We hope you guys enjoyed your stay in NYC and come back soon!

Enjoy this sneak peek into Roz and John's wedding photography at The Manor in West Orange, New Jersey. We didn't have the opportunity to meet them before their wedding, so while driving to NJ, we were definitely anxious and curious to find out what type of people Roz and John were. Luckily for us, their love for each other was just glowing the whole day, which made it was so much fun to take portraits of them. Roz and John: Thank you for having us at your wedding. It was awesome to get a glimpse into the love and joy that you guys are surrounded with. We can't wait to hear more about your honeymoon and see you both again soon!

| STAK Fact (something new): Tak and I spent this Thanksgiving weekend frying a turkey with our families, hanging out with local photographers, and making frequent trips to the nearby RedBox to rent movies: Up (loved it), Angels & Demons (thumbs up), and Whatever Works (Larry David!). |
