Ramsey Golf & Country Club Wedding

Attending a good friend’s wedding can be really emotional, and this was exactly how I felt on the day my close friend Russell exchanged vows with his sweetheart, Aimee.  I've known Russ for many years, and I was really honored to be the one capturing memorable moments for him.

On a perfect April day with amazing weather, these two huge hockey fans (of different teams, though) and their guests celebrated their big day at the gorgeous Ramsey Golf and Country Club. Quietly tucked away in Bergen County, this charming property features a majestic stone castle, sparkling lakes and lush gardens. After the outdoor ceremony was held by the water we explored the dreamy surroundings and found some fantastic hidden spots to shoot in.  After I got them to stop licking each other, Aimee was simply amazing, willing to walk over rocks and climb on trees for the sake of great photos.  And it was worth it :) During the reception, I love how Aimee's dad put a Philadelphia Flyers jersey on her, and I love how Russ boo'd the whole time.  

The whole day was filled with fantastic energy, and everyone noticed how happy and excited Aimee and Russ were to get married. It was impossible not to, since their joy was literally written all over their faces.

Russ, I've known you for many years, and I've never seen you this happy before.  I am so touched that you asked me to capture your most incredible day.  I love you both so very much and my life is better with you in it.  Take a look at some of my favorite photos above and relive their celebration!
