The Best Blue Hill at Stone Barns Wedding Photographer

Photographing Jane and Ron for the second time was a real treat and an honor. This time around the setting was different (Blue Hill at Stone Barns), but their big smiles, kids, and tangible connection were unchanged. I first photographed them during their private ceremony at the City Hall in San Francisco, which is why they might look familiar. The intimate SF ceremony was a smooth introduction to the heartwarming reception they hosted at Blue Hill at Stone Barns - so close to Manhattan yet so far away from the hectic city life.

You might remember how family-oriented Jane and Ron are.  If in San Francisco they said their “I do’s” without any kids around, their second wedding was filled with cute giggles, entertaining dance performances, and happy children. Those cool little guys actually helped their parents meet in the first place, so it was perfectly fine if they stole the show a few times during the wedding.

Blue Hill has an important meaning for Jane and Ron.  It was where they went on one of their first dates.  And that is also one of the tips I am giving in my latest post, 7 Great Ways to Personalize Your Wedding. Spot on, guys!

Known for its incredible farm-to-table food, Blue Hill at Stone Barns offered a one-of-a-kind atmosphere and an aesthetic that was classy and festive without being fussy. The feeling of Jane and Ron’s big day was unmistakably autumnal. The reddish foliage reflecting the light at sunset created a natural dreamy décor.

Jane showcased no less than four outfits and looked splendid in each of them. She said “I do” in a gracious strapless wedding gown, shone bright in a flawless pink and baby blue traditional costume, wowed with her ballet moves for their first dance in an asymmetric sheer lace dress, and donned an ultra-chic lace jumpsuit on the dance floor. Ron opted for navy throughout the day, but swapped his suit jacket and tie for a more relaxed velvet jacket at one point, keeping his pair of sneakers on until the end.

Jane and Ron’s wedding day was filled with lots of candid moments which pieced together a beautiful love story.

It was such a pleasure to be there once again for this wonderful family to eternalize yet another memorable celebration.  Feel free to enjoy some of their wedding photos and ride the wave of positive vibes that filled their nuptials above!
