Wedding Photos in Harvard Club

There are times when real life beats reality TV, and Heather, the bride in this story, can definitely relate to this theory. Cast on a season of The Bachelor, she decided eventually not to join because she wanted to be with Brad (the groom in the fairy tale). Ironically, the Bachelor’s name was also Brad, but this is now just a funny anecdote that makes the couple smile (and Brad feel secretly proud).

Heather and Brad met in 2000 at Lehigh College, however, their love blossomed six years later, when they reconnected after moving back to the city. After a summer at the beach house, they started dating and have been together since.

On their wedding day, Brad looked super-sharp in his Hugo Boss navy blue tuxedo, while Heather wowed everyone with her gorgeous Berta dress with sheer deep V-back and luxurious back pearl buttons. She looked like a modern mermaid holding her exquisite brooch bouquet and beaming.

Since these guys don’t like a lot of attention (too bad, they were really worth staring at!), they went for a very quick ceremony at the elegant Harvard Club, exchanging vows in a splendid three-story hall with floor-to ceiling windows and sumptuous mahogany panelling, followed by a great reception in the main dining room. 

At the end of the night, they ordered McDonalds for all their wedding guests, but since Heather didn't get any, the newlyweds got back to the hotel room and ordered more chicken nuggets, ending the day on a decadent note.  Thank you, Heather and Brad, for allowing me into your lives and your wedding day.  Enjoy some of my favorite photos from their big day by simply clicking on the slideshow above.
