Kali and John fully agree that every great moment in life deserves to be celebrated with your dearest. John proposed to his love at Eataly in NYC, but they legally married without having a proper reception. When they decided it was finally time to party with their family and close friends in New York, they organized a reception by the lake.

The idea was received with enthusiasm, and the location they chose was absolutely superb: the Loeb Boathouse, an urban oasis located just a quick stroll into Central Park. This place, a truly romantic spot fit for nature lovers, is the only Manhattan venue on a lake. One can explore the lake in a rowboat, but the true pièce de résistance is the ride in an authentic Venetian gondola with a gondolier. And yes, Kali and John definitely opted for the latter choice! It was great watching them arrive at the restaurant in true celebrity style, with everyone waving to them in excitement.

They both looked really posh: Kali was radiant in her long, form-fitting lace gown, while John opted for a more unconventional outfit, inspired by their love for horse racing. He wore a blue plaid jacket, a purple bow tie and beige pants that looked really flattering on him (kudos to Kali who was the one choosing the ensemble).

One of the evening’s highlights was John and his grandmother impressing the audience with their moves on the dancefloor. An unforgettable performance!
