Kristen + Jordan
The Altman Building Wedding
Being a New York photographer I realize there are many great reasons why lots of romantic movies are set here: this is one of the most incredible cities in the world (think of its unique skyline, the parks, the lights, the hustle and bustle, and so much more). People meet and fall in love in the Big Apple and, to no surprise they decide to tie the knot here. This is also the case of Kristen and Jordan. Their eyes spoke a thousand words of love that day, and it was an honor for me to be a part of their wedding.
Kristen and Jordan prepared for the big day at the super-central W Hotel in Union Square where they got ready surrounded by some of their friends and family. Kristen wore a fantastic body-hugging lace dress with a sparkly silver sash, and carried a calla lily bouquet. Her bridesmaids offset her gorgeous gown in long, black dresses, channeling the same delicate bouquets.
For the ceremony, the couple chose the Altman Building (which they absolutely adored!), a historic landmark in the heart of Chelsea established in 1886. The space is chic, has a huge dance floor to keep a great party going, vaulted brick ceilings and a service that exceeds expectations.
While the cocktail hour took place in the basement of the building with candles giving a romantic golden light, the reception was held in a spacious venue where an 11-piece band entertained the crowd playing into the night.
