Hyatt Penn's Landing Wedding

Sometimes, when things are not really going as they should, the simple fact of having your loved one by your side makes you feel stronger and more confident. For better or worse, right?

Love and constant support is what made Kristen and Rich’s relationship stand the test of time (they met in the fall of 2004 when they were still freshmen at Rutgers University, started dating in their mid-twenties, and one decade later here I was photographing their awesome wedding).

These two lawyers were a very pleasant surprise to me. We have not had the chance to meet face to face before their big day, so we just exchanged emails, but when we finally met on their wedding day, I loved how fun and easy-going they were. And by the end of the night, I knew I made some friends for life.

It seems like these two are the perfect match. Rich considers Kristen kind and caring (very similar to his mom, actually!) always trusting in him, even after a failure, while she is ready to put up with his booty popping to Beyonce’s tunes for the rest of her life.

Photographing Rich and his buddies while they got ready for the wedding was hilarious (at times borderline hilarious), but you could tell the guys were having a blast. Kristen looked jaw-dropping in her poofy princess dress with lots of fine beading and opulent train. 

I enjoyed every moment of this couple’s large Filipino wedding. It was held at the beautiful Hyatt Regency Philadelphia at Penn’s Landing which offered amazing views of the Delaware River.  Kristen and Rich: Thank you for sharing your day with me, and for allowing me to enter into your wild circle of family and friends.
