Carly + Gutty
A Wedding at Liberty Warehouse
Carly and Gutty decided to celebrate their wedding in a non-traditional location, so they chose the gorgeous Liberty Warehouse in Brooklyn. I simply love this New York gem! The romantic venue, located on the water’s edge, offers exquisite views of New York Harbor and the Statue of Liberty. It also gave guests enough room to dance, which is, in fact, what the groom, Gutty, most fondly remembers: tons of dance circles around him and Carly while they showed off their sick dancing skills!
When Carly looks back, she recalls meeting Gutty almost a decade ago at Washington University. Him, a boy from Miami and her, a New York girl, did everything to keep their relationship going across several moves – from Wash U to Miami to DC to New York. Theirs was a long distance relationship for almost 4 years, but as they say, distance means so little when someone means so much! Gutty moved to New York briefly and eventually they settled in Miami. They have really gone through a lot together and were so excited to finally enter the next stage: life together as a married couple. Carly told me she's not a crier, but when she immediately saw Gutty under the chuppah, she couldn't help herself.
Their wedding was so much fun, with family and guests dancing until 2 a.m. and having the time of their lives. For Carly and Gutty this was the most perfect night they could possibly wish for. Carly and Gutty, it was such a great honor to be there with you as you tied the knot in style. I love your families and I hope to be involved in your lives again soon!
