Lotte New York Palace Wedding
To some couples like Lauren and Gregg, one day of celebrations is not enough (genius!), so they started off with an intimate ceremony that took place at Lotte New York Palace, and continued with a high-energy party at Harding’s, the next day. After all, can you blame anyone for wanting to keep the party going for as long as they can? Considering theirs was a Jewish wedding celebration with a hint of India, this wedding was totally extra and a pleasure to photograph.
It all started with Lauren and Gregg meeting on Hinge. Now, we all know the goal of online dating is to get offline as quickly as possible, so when the couple decided to go on a date, they probably took the most important decision of their lives without even knowing it. They went to a bar and then played football catch together. Success! They have been an item ever since. The fact that they chose to spend an epic honeymoon in Antarctica says a lot about their adventurous personalities. It was an honor being their NYC wedding photographer.
Lauren was a stunning bride dressed in classic white for the ceremony and reception, and channeling a glam Indian saree during the epic party they threw on the second day. All the aspects of this wedding were in total sync: the ceremony was relaxed, the interiors were nostalgic and very elegant, the bride and groom looked so smitten with each other.
An iconic venue in Midtown Manhattan, Lotte New York Palace is one of NYC’s most recognizable hotels. The elegant couple opted for this exquisite backdrop that radiated Old World romance, so if you are a fan of Italian Renaissance architecture, feel free to take their cue – the place looks fab in photos, too. Harding’s, the location chosen for their party, looked equally beautiful: a Gilded Age gem with exposed brick walls, vintage chandeliers and antique mirrors that offered a dramatic yet intimate décor.
Guests had a blast – from watching the emotional moment of the I do’s under a beautifully adorned chuppah to the couple’s romantic first dance and the energetic next-day party, every moment sparked excitement, giggles and undissimulated joy.
Lauren and Gregg, spending these two days with you was amazing. I'm so grateful to Uchi and Aashish for introducing me, and for the trust bestowed onto me by all. May your life as a married couple continue in the same way!
