An Outdoor Wedding at Roundhouse at Beacon Falls
If you belong to the superstitious team who believes Friday the 13th is an unlucky day, I know a couple who can prove you wrong.
Stephanie and Eric met on the 13th day of March 2009 which happened to be a Friday and, given that I got to be their wedding photographer, you can already guess this mystical combination totally worked for them. When they were first introduced by mutual pals, they became friends. Then followed the crush, which lead to a beautiful relationship. It took 5 years and two cats to make them walk down the aisle, and I absolutely loved taking part in their unforgettable wedding and seeing them so in love.
The venue chosen by Steph and Eric for their big day is one of my all-time favorites: the Roundhouse at Beacon Falls. Located in the picturesque Hudson Valley, the property overlooks the breathtaking Beacon Falls and provides a fantastic view of Mount Beacon.
The outdoor ceremony took place under a glorious chuppah embellished with luxurious white roses that matched the bridal bouquet. During the reception there was a lot of dancing (Stephanie’s dad managed to steal the show!), toasting (her maid of honor honored them with an oversized champagne glass), and an avalanche of smiles.
Stephanie and Eric, I am so grateful for your trust you put in us in capturing your wedding. Everyone who was there had a fantastic time, and you can see some of my favorite images from their wedding above.
