The Estate at Florentine Gardens Wedding
My most vivid memory about this fantastic wedding at the Estate at Florentine Gardens was the twinkle in Giana & Bobby's eyes, all day long.
Bobby and Giana met in 2010 at a birthday party, being introduced by the woman who, years later, was going to be Giana’s bridesmaid. That first encounter seemed surreal: a dance, a kiss, Giana’s head spinning… They felt a sudden connection. They exchanged phone numbers. The rest is history.
Talking about her better half makes Giana glow. She said, "Bobby and I hit it off right away. He asked me to dance. He was so much fun and just spinning me around on the dance floor. As the night was coming to an end Bobby kissed me. I sware I thought it was a dream." She still feels mesmerized every time she looks into Bobby’s eyes and loves how beautiful he makes her feel and how passionately he loves her.
The wedding was the ultimate celebration of their strong feelings. Giana got ready at her home in Brooklyn and beamed with happiness throughout the ceremony, which took place at the beautiful Seton Hall University. Walking down the aisle towards her love was overwhelming for Giana and you could see just how excited she was to become Bobby’s wife.
The New Jersey location chosen for the ceremony was a sophisticated Georgian-style mansion that offered an exquisite backdrop (the blooms were spectacular!). Alessia, the bride’s sister, worked really hard to handmade the wedding invitations, menus, and even a white rose petal STAK-Booth background.
Giana & Bobby surprised each other during the reception: he wore red suspenders that Giana kept pulling all evening, and she had the picture of their cavapoo embedded into the central ice sculpture.
A huge thank you to Giana and Bobby for entrusting me with the task of immortalizing their dream wedding. You can view some of my favorite images from the day above, including their first dance for which they practised really hard!
